Tips & Guidelines for TAKING care of your candle.

-ALWAYS - ALWAYS - ALWAYS Trim your wick before re-lighting
-For the first burn, burn for at least 4 hours to reach a full melt pool;
-Do not burn longer than 4 hours at a time to allow your jar to cool;
-Never leave a candle burning unattended;
-Keep away from flammable materials, kids & pets;
-Always place candle on a flat level surface that is heat resistant;
-Do not place candles near or on other heat sources
-Extinguish candle with lid to ensure hot wax does not splatter;
-Always keep your wick trimmed to no more than 1/8th of an inch;
-Keep candle away from drafts (A/C, windows or breezes);
-Allow candle to cool before touching to avoid jar being too hot (especially tin candles);
-If wick gets too high, distinguish the flame, let cool & trim the wick & re-light;
-Stop lighting your candle once it's finished & wax is below wick.
-When burning on a candle warmer, allow candle to cool before handling.
-Never pour water onto hot wax - EVER! Always distinguish using a lid.






 

Returns & Policies:

All Candles & Body Care Products are not returnable due to the nature of the merchandise - NO EXCEPTIONS!!

 

Our candle products are carefully inspected ahead of time & we do not offer refunds or accept back any merchandise that is used.  For any issues, please contact me directly within 3 days of your purchase at loftcottagecandles@gmail.com and all issues will be handled on a case by case basis.  

 

For any items shipped,  you have 3 days after receiving the merchandise to inspect & contact us with any issues. If your package arrived damaged, please take photos, keep all original packaging and contact us immediately so that we can ensure we have evidence of your concerns when speaking with the shipping carrier.  If an item was damaged by the shipping carrier, we will work with them & you to exchange your product for another candle of the same size, price & scent.  The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs on any returned items or you may pick up at our showroom location.

For any issues related to your purchase of any merchandise, we required photographic evidence, original packaging & original receipt of sale so be sure to keep all your information.  We do not offer any refunds on any candle merchandise that you have changed your mind about or don't like the scent or have used...due to the nature of the item.  No cash refund for gifts you received.
